On the market: Romantic Oregon beach homes (photos) Psst: It's almost Valentine's Day – OregonLive.com

Wednesday is Valentine’s Day, but you knew that. Flowers and gifts aren’t necessary, but looking at spruced-up houses is a guilty pleasure for some.

In this week’s real estate gallery, we look at romantic beach homes for sale or recently sold.

You might picture a cozy cottage on the shore. But seaside houses come in all sizes and architectural styles.

Here’s a romantic, oceanfront hideaway: 88515 Pacific Surf Lane in Bandon — known as the Glass House, a landmark just south of Cape Arago State Park — sold for $3.2 million in 2017. The Sea Winds estate, built in 1987 on an expansive 73 acres, has 5,641 square feet of living space.

Cozy? No. Romantic? You decide.
