Indy's Table: A look behind the scenes at Goose the Market


In the 10 years Goose the Market has been in business, it has changed Indy’s food landscape in so many ways and as it has grown it has made sure to focus on keeping to its roots of making incredible quality charcuterie and serving the community top tier meats including steaks, pork chops, legs of lamb and more.

Since opening they have also added the wonderful downstairs wine and beer shop and intimate bar, Enoteca where we can saddle up, enjoy some cheese, charcuterie, and nuts along with a beer or wine. 

And need we remind you, they created the Batali, a sandwich that is truly a work of flavor wizardry. It takes the classic Italian sandwich to a whole new level and we’re so lucky to be able to eat it for every single day, is that just me? 

This Saturday, October 14, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. they are celebrating 10 years and everyone is invited. 

In a message from Corrie Quinn with Goose the Market she says they will have “Beers on tap, Greg [Gunthorp, of Guntorp Farms] and Dave [Fischer, of Fishcher Farms] pulling meat treats from our mobile smoking trailer, games and prizes, kids activities, free knife sharpening, more.”

It’s bound to be an awesome celebration of one of Indy’s most beloved companies and any chance to eat, drink and be merry is where you should be.
